The Culinary Futures Scholarship exists because opportunity should never be determined by access alone.

Created by the GALA Legacy Foundation and supported in part by Jerk Reserve™, this scholarship is our commitment to expanding representation and cultural leadership in the culinary world. We invest in emerging Caribbean and diasporic culinary talent — the next generation of chefs, innovators, and cultural storytellers who carry our heritage forward.

Recipients receive direct financial support toward tuition at any accredited culinary institution — from world-renowned programs to regional schools that best fit their goals, path, and vision. We believe the right school is the one that serves the student, not the other way around.

All scholarship funds are paid directly to the recipient's chosen institution on their behalf — ensuring full transparency, proper stewardship, and measurable impact.
